The new year has arrived, and before you know it, spring will be here! Now is the time to start planning your outdoor kitchen. Why the rush? Why not wait until spring? There are several reasons, including grills, furniture, landscaping, and schedules.
The grill is arguably the centerpiece of your entire outdoor kitchen. You may already have the perfect outdoor kitchen laid out in your mind. Chances are, if that’s you, the grill is the first thing you considered. What size do you want? What color do you want? What about options and add-ons do you want? Those are all things you need to consider when deciding on a grill. Check out our quality line of grills here.
One thing’s for certain: the earlier you select a grill and order it, the better chance you have of it being available when you need it! If the grill you’ve selected is in stock now, you’re good to go. If it’s not in stock now, no big deal. Planning ahead means it will more likely be available when you want it, not a month or two later.
The same order-sooner-rather-than-later rules apply to furniture as they do to grills. And, depending on the size of your outdoor kitchen, you may have quite a few things to consider. And these particular considerations often require multiple measurements and, possibly, sketches to determine the perfect layout for your outdoor kitchen. Every outdoor kitchen needs a table and chairs, but you may need to consider other patio furniture, such as couches, sofas, and rugs. And if you’re going to be outside during the daylight, everyone would appreciate a patio umbrella!
If you had your outdoor kitchen up and running right now, what’s one thing that would make it more comfortable on these chilly nights? A firepit! Come fall, or even late summer, your friends and family will appreciate a nice fire table after dinner, while you continue to enjoy the crisp air and the fellowship.

If there’s any landscaping that needs to be done, now is the time to plan, design, sketch, and order those items. As with the grills and furniture, landscaping materials have been harder to come by over the past few years. Recently, these items have required additional time if items are ordered, rather than purchased from in-stock inventory. Besides the dirt, rocks, grass, and plants people often think of when contemplating landscaping, you might also consider planters. They can add to the overall aesthetics of your outdoor kitchen, and putting in an order now would be prudent.
As with physical materials, human resources have been more difficult to schedule over the past few years. Getting ahead of the curveball, calling one of our locations, and getting on the schedule for this spring would be highly advisable. You can do so here.
